Golden Eagle with Epiphone style headstock?

Saw a natural Golden Eagle in a music store with a H tailpiece and an Epiphone style headstock (with a "bite" out of each corner.) Any idea when this was made? Sorry, no pic.

Doubt that is stock. Probably modded after sale. We've seen a few modified headstocks thru the years.

With out pics it's hard to tell what it is but could it be an Epiphone with an H tailpiece?

Yes, it's like the headstock from the Super Eagle with the Florentine cutaway. Same guitar.

Wow... amazing.     I believe that that one was factory done as a special order.   The label inside should verify it.   

A rare thing to have Heritage make this kind of custom headstock.
