H-170 strap pin location?

Hello there. I am looking at acquiring a H-170 and would like to know if anyone has asked to have the strap pin relocated to the upper cutaway bout? Please let me know some feedback on the position of the strap button on the current position at the central back of the body at the base of the neck. Thank you kindly.

I had one, hated the pin in the upper horn... Made the guitar hang parallel to the floor for me.   In the heel it hangs and feels like a 555 because they have similar neck fits etc.

I had a 170 with the normal pin location. I was surprised how well it balanced.

This.

I hate neck dive on a guitar.  it is an absolute deal breaker for me.  Even more than weight, size, neck size, or fret size.   If the neck dives when using a strap, it is a NO go for me.

Mine is at the base of the neck and it is really nicely balanced.

As with the 4 current 170's in my stable.
