Hi!

I have not had a Heritage guitar since 1989.   I had a hardtail, flametop, STAT back then tha twas great.   Wish I still had it.

A few weeks ago, I got 2005 H-535 Classic.   Near mint condition, trans red.  Duncan '59s,  100% stock.   I own over two dozen guitars and this my be my new, permanent, favorite.

My question is this.   What is the difference between the H535 Classic and the H535?

A 150 Classic has Duncan '59s. So having the '59s rather than the old Schallers. would be my guess.

Hardware is easy to replace.  Shouldn’t be a problem.

From the looks of it, there isn’t really anything significant over a standard 535.

The "classic" is a designation to any model that HAS Duncan pickups. Usually 59's... In the Golden Era up to 2006ish shaller was standard equipment, Congrats on your purchase!

Ultra means, Ultra wood package and at the HRW pickup era Rendall Wall pickups.

Enjoy her in great health.

Welcome to the HOC.  Beautiful 535 you've got there!!

Just for reference, my 2008 H535 Classic Goldtop came from the factory with Duncan Phat Cats.  Likely a dealer request since 59's were more common.

Thanks!

The STAT that I had years ago was a 87/88 model with Schaller pups.   I really did not like the sound of those. But the guitar was so good otherwise.  Man, I miss that one.

I have orderd a Schaller stop-bar to go on this one.  I assume that the studs will go in with issue.

I'm glad we finally sorted out the issue with resolving new members.

Welcome to the Collective!

YES!!!!!!!!    It was frustrating for both sides, I'm sure.
