pressure Posted July 9, 2018 Posted July 9, 2018 Its that time again. When I was playing this guitar I noticed that the bass strings sounded like a new set of flat wound strings, you know thumpy, undefined and muted. They are not flat wounds! The last time I put strings on this guitar was July 23rd 2015 so whether they need a change or not it's getting new strings. I use Post-It-Notes to keep the bridge from moving.
deytookerjaabs Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 Gorgeous guitar! On my arches of the past I've always been into wound strings with the wood bridge but flatwounds with the adjustable bridge but I bet that box thumps with the best of'em.
Gitfiddler Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 Post-it Note bridge markers? Brilliantly simple...Simply brilliant!

Even better to have some larger post-its for the long sides. I know my post-its. Without them I couldn't remember anything.
Vanschoyck Posted July 13, 2018 Posted July 13, 2018 Lovely guitar; any opportunity to show that one off is well taken.
