Having toured the factories of Heritage, PRS and Gibson, both in person and on YouTube, I find myself cross referencing a thousand mental notes during each tour as to how the other guys perform each of these steps in their individual guitar building efforts. I then naturally decide in my own mind who I think does a better job building guitars as though I were a judge sitting on a live action reality contest TV show.

When they showed Jake Kershaw’s fretboard I was thinking it was JL Fulks.

Sad to say if it wasn’t for the tour, I wouldn’t of known about Jake.
