Last year of the "H" tailpiece

What was the last year the "H" tailpiece was installed on the 575? Mine is a 2004 which has the "H" TP. Were many 575's affected with TP breakage that caused replacement? I ask because I have seen several 575's older than mine that have a 175 type TP.

That said, does Heritage still stock direct replacement tailpieces for those older models or are they the same as recent production?

I seriously doubt you can still get an H trailpiece from Heritage.

I can’t answer the OP’s question completely, but on a related topic I believe I read that this was the last “H” tailpiece to come out of the Heritage factory:

I have to say,I preferred the tailpiece used on my '88 575...I totally love this guitar..It's superb.

Sorry if I was not clear, are current TP's that do NOT have the "H" a direct replacement?

They certainly look that way from the pictures but I cannot say for sure. Contacting the factory with that question would be a good idea.
