rockabilly69 Posted January 23, 2019 Posted January 23, 2019 This is the amp I hoped Mesa would make as I only have ever used one channel on my Mesa. The slight break-up tone sounds great, and it sounds more 3D than any other Mesa amp that I've ever heard. It just sounds more organic, more vintage. I thought I was done buying amps:)
Gitfiddler Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Wow, Mesa is on a role!! I dig this amp series. Probably best with single coils or P90's. The 335 tone wasn't my favorite of the demo.

tbonesullivan Posted January 24, 2019 Posted January 24, 2019 Nice! I saw this over on the Mesa area. If only I didn't already have a Maverick and a carvin Vintage 16. The power options are definitely VERY nice. Also, definitely liking the new speakers that Jensen has been putting out. I wonder if the 12AT7 is the Reverb driver, or the phase inverter.
tulk1 Posted January 25, 2019 Posted January 25, 2019 My first thought was, "hmm, I wonder how many amps Mesa has now designed and released. Considering it seems they do at least one a year, sometimes more?" I also thought, "well, my Lone Star (ne:Classic) absolutely nails it on the Tweed setting, so why not one dedicated to Tweed?" I dig that their Tweed isn't yellow, too. Wonder how much the 112 weighs? Less than 1 ton?
