akguitar Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Hey everyone. So I have a Heritage HTF 480 acoustic guitar that I am thinking of selling. I bought it from a local store owner back in 1991. He bought it at the NAMM show about a year earlier. I had a clear pick guard put in it as well as a strap peg and a piezo pickup. It has a small crack on the side and normal wear for a guitar that was played ALOT. Any advice on pricing, selling, shipping, etc. would be very helpful. Or should I keep it?!?! Thanks guys!
DavesNotHere Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Nice! Marv told me he built around ten of these and he built them himself. I picked mine up several years ago (my avatar) and I love it. Rare does not always equal $. Having said that, it's often difficult to put a price on an item when there are few or no comps. Anyway, sweet guitar!
Gitfiddler Posted March 3, 2019 Posted March 3, 2019 Pricing may be tough as Dave mentioned. You've got a rare bird there. I'd suggest doing some Google searches for sales of Heritage HTF guitars and see what you come up with. Here's an old catalogue page showing Heritage acoustics and their features.
