Was there some sort of security reboot?

When I opened the HOC this morning it didn't recognize me. No big deal, just enter UN and PW. After doing so I get an email from admins telling me that someone has logged on to my account using a device that has never been seen before. Hmmm? I've been using this computer for years. Did a board cache get wiped or something?

I have been getting that message for a few weeks on my computer but not on my phone.
