KEITHSPANGLE Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Recently got this H-150 which has proved to be a brilliant guitar. It's the actual one you may have seen reviewed on Guitar.com: https://guitar.com/review/electric-guitar/review-heritage-h-137-h-150/ only very minor irritation is that my hand squeaks against the neck when I'm playing it. Only annoying at low volumes as it doesn't affect the plugged in sound in any way. Is this a feature of the nitro finish ? does it go way in time ?
KEITHSPANGLE Posted May 15, 2019 Author Posted May 15, 2019 for some reason the picture went missing form the original post...
davesultra Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Keep playing and the Nitro should wear nicely. Some folks like to use 0000 steel wool on the back of the neck, but I wouldn’t. Again, over time you’ll get the “glossy” off just by playing. Just another part of making it your own.
DavesNotHere Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 There could be a mouse in the neck. I would definitely get it checked while it's still under warranty. Oh, and congrats on a sweet 150!

skydog52 Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 What a beauty! I've used scotch brite on mine. Works well. Have fun.
Vanschoyck Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Definitely no mouse - that is a relaxed cat. Beautiful guitar.
Spectrum13 Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 Very nice burst you got there. Enjoy for all the years to come.
DetroitBlues Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 60 grit sand paper on a belt sander will cure it... not sure if it will be visually appealing though....
tbonesullivan Posted May 16, 2019 Posted May 16, 2019 How old is it? I've only had one of two "new" nitro guitars, and it can take about a year for that feeling to go away. Once it's gone though, it's gone for good.
