Metalheart Posted June 10, 2019 Author Posted June 10, 2019 Just writing to say I have experienced amazing results using the Brantone Vintage Tweed overdrive. So much so that I just purchased a spare. I'm using my new H-150 through a clean, high headroom style amp (Vase Tonesetter 18 2x12). The pedal is very transparent, excellent quality and I highly recommend it. Built with quality components. My go to blues OD sound. In addition, It annihilates my lovepedal Les lius, not even close.

Does that provide a Soldano-ish drive tone. I've always liked that sound. I have the poor man's Soldano, the 5150 hehe. Nice drive mate. Must......resist....the....urge....to......buy......more....haha Interested to hear what everyone else is using. For blues sounds I also have the RYRA 808 and Ryra Klone, which I both highly recommend but the vintage tweed is more of the blues sound I am going for. Are those the settings you use? Low gain or medium? Cheers guys.
big bob Posted June 15, 2019 Posted June 15, 2019 Very much the Soldano sound. And while the unit pictured is not mine the settings are where I keep mine. Maybe just a tad less overdrive and a tad more gain.
