Prospect Floating or Fixed

How can you determine if a Prospect has the fixed or floating block?

By original design, always floating.  There can be cases when they aren’t, but pull out a pickup and take a look under the hood.

Space.  You should see some space between the back of the body and the block.

Look at the bottom of the block, you should see about a 1/4 inch space between the block and the back of the guitar. 

Prospects are awesome.

You can also get full hollow.

You can probably see the space just by looking through the f-hole.  I have one of each (solid, floating and full hollow). Solids sound pretty similar to a 335, but the floating and full hollow definitely sound different.  I would suggest going with a floating or full hollow (but those are hard to find).
