TalismanRich Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 I just was looking at Facebook and a new post said: It is official. They gave me a badge. First day back was awesome.
Gitfiddler Posted September 21, 2020 Posted September 21, 2020 Yay!! Welcome back, Katie aka "The Girl"!
golferwave Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Great news! Heritage is getting some of it's mojo back.
FredZepp Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 This is great news... welcome back Katie!!
DetroitBlues Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 That is so cool that Katie is back. The company made a good decision there!
Gitfiddler Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Did Katie build that unusual, yet beautiful H150 named "Beulah Burst" back in the day?

rockabilly69 Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Was she one of the employees that walked out when the new guard took over. If so, good for her, because a day making guitars is a day worth doing!
DetroitBlues Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 There are several one-off special Heritages she had a hand in making. Don’t remember her painting.

LK155 Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 There's a priceless photo somewhere of her in the factory at one of the PSPs.....Marv is watching her sand a rim and she's rolling her eyes.

I cannot remember too many of the Pre-Plaza Corp employees being released, but some resigned in protest after several of the new hires were released. I believe one original Heritage employee was let go because of refusal to follow directions of the company, but I cannot exactly remember. Sadly, it was a dark time for both the Heritage Guitar Company and the Heritage Owners Club. The factory lost some wonderful people and we lost many good members and some of the spirit of the HOC.
