Thanks to Eric M.- Eugene , Oregon from over on the facebook Heritage Guitar Owners club who passed this one on.

Arrived in short order, my first Heritage guitar.

First impressions: The neck feels like my 59-60 LP Junior(long since gone)

The weight - like a chambered Gibby LP.

Nicely balanced...best combination of my favs. all in one sweet, good looker.

Never able to bond with the few LP's I've had over the past 40 years, this one is different....

Late to the party but I'm glad I discovered these wonderful pieces of craftsmanship.

 Cheers....

Nice job snagging that one.

The 1st gen H140s are GREAT guitars.   They feel great to play, and still have that nice solid body/dual humbucker sound.    Its a shame it's not in the current lineup, but there are quite a few of them out there still.

Thanks to everyone and yes, I feel privileged to have been offered this gem.

It didn't take more than a couple of weeks of putting the word out.

It reminds me a bit of an old Martin I had in that it has this sympathetic string  vibration chimey thing going on.

The played note sets other open strings off on their own harmonic chorus.

A sign of a special guitar , to be sure.

As well , a big thanks to "myoldfriend" for spending time when I came onboard and offering up a couple of his own.

You guys / gals have some of the finest instruments on the planet.

Congratulations!  Those 1st Generation H140's were real gems.  Heritage always puts some unique tops on them.

Looks completely stock.  All the Schaller parts are there.

Not very often do you see the Schaller tailpiece with fine tuner adjustments on them.
