Hello!

I cannot find the answer on Search so I hope someone can help.

Did Heritage make something along the lines of an H530 hollowbody (Casino) with humbuckers and a spruce top? Epiphone has the Swingster (hollowbody, humbuckers, but only maple top) and Gibbons made the Byrdland (but way too expensive).

Thanks so much for your expertise!!!

Hi DY and welcome to the HOC.

I've never seen or heard of or seen a Spruce top H-530 (or Spruce H-535 or H-555 or H-525).  However, since they've always been a custom shop, there could be such a guitar somewhere.  I included the other models since from your post, you are asking about a 'thinline' model.

There have been custom ordered Spruce top H-575's, but those are full hollows with a 2.75" body depth.

I was afraid one of you experts would say that.  The H575s are a tad too thick for me.  Gibbons stopped doing one-offs, but maybe Heritage would do one.  Thank you!!!

I thought Pressure has a spruce top Millie and Prospect. Also a recent post of a H530 with humbuckers is pretty close.

I have 2 Spruce top Millie's, the Spruce Prospect and an H170 with a Spruce body but they were fully custom and not standard Heritage guitars.

Beautiful guitars for sure!

I was hoping for a hollowbody, maple back & sides with spruce top for alot of bite and make those humbuckers ring and sing.  Not to be.  *sigh*

You might consider contacting Heritage with your specs.  Being a custom order it will be more expensive than their standard offerings.  But in the end you'll get the guitar you are dreaming of.  Good hunting!

Go ahead and post some pics, that damnyankee needs to see.
