OldStan
Hello apologies as I am sure that this has been asked and answered many times, but I didn’t know where to look. I was wondering is it: a) just a name difference? b) or was it certain models or years made? c) other reasons Thank you for your response(s)! JeffB
I think they were experimenting with marketing concepts.
Dogrel
I think “The Heritage” was the original wording, and the new ownership switched to just “Heritage” in the last couple of years.
DetroitBlues
The Heritage has been the name since the beginning. A year or so ago, they created a Custom Core line with a slightly larger headstock that just says Heritage. Omits the word “The”. They also experimented with a Circle H instead too. bolero
I always liked "The Heritage" the best But when you're stoking the fire, who looks up at the mantle piece?

OldStan
All the info from ya’ll is very much appreciated, but I still think it is a subject that is a case by case thing. •Like this one example of a 2012 made H-575 with block inlaid fretboard and headstock and neck binding. I guess this maybe a case of custom add ons where block inlays and neck and headstock binding we’re chosen over any headstock ornamentation. Am I right? Haha, this is like a Dateline or 20/20 weekend murder mystery tv show. Except no people or guitars where hurt in the making of this guitar?? skydog52
Usually it was The Heritage and you are right I've ordered headstocks that weren't typical for the model but just ornamentally. Always had The Heritage on it.

TalismanRich
Ok, they all said The Heritage until the custom core guitars. Lets get a little more into this. There are two distinct versions of the logo, the full script r and the one with just the loop at the top. What determined which version was used? The catalog with the Eagle has the two logos.
