555 again?

Just saw the post on Instagram of that natural 555 with bigsby. Wow what a looker. Anybody know if they are going to offer them as a standard model? Sorry I didn't post pics but couldn't remember the rules of posting pics from another site?

Now that's fancy.  The chrome, extra binding and block inlays are classy.

Here's one from the same factory from 1982 a friend of mine just got today.  Similar but somewhat different.

Since this was taken the colour seems to have mellowed into a more honey colour.

No, those are Custom Shop models now.  They cut down their standard line to a handful of models from what they used to offer.

Thanks Daniel, knowing what beautiful guitars you have, that's a real compliment. I swapped out the gold for nickel as I wanted to make it just that little bit unique, also putting the more standard bridge in - it's a great guitar

I like the nickel WAY Better!

I just tool the gold Bigsby off this guitar because I HATED all that gold...

Another one of your beautiful guitars, you and I think the same - the less gold the better.I would love a Gretsch but I've been out of work since las November. One of these days I will find one I like and put the money down. Thanks for the nice words about my 555.

That is gorgeous  I'm looking into getting one myself in the near future.
