tulk1 Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Oh man!!! Just posted on Youtube this week. Amazing!!! David Paul on Youtube.
Kuz Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 OK NOW MY Heritages are all official for sale again. And I really felt like practicing tonight too. Thanks Kenny, Thanks!!!
fxdx99 Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Very cool. Guess those Schaller's are okay for clean fingerpicking after all. Now we need a James Brown video clip to compliment it...
Krohawk1 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 This is the orginal proto-type for the David Paul Model. Somewhat differnet than the final production model. David Paul posting photo.jpg David Paul posting photo.jpg_thumb

skydog Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Man, I try to like that style of music, and believe me I'm not knocking it as it takes an immense amount of talent, but I just much prefer a slow blues where one note speaks volumes.
Gitfiddler Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Beautiful guitar, but more importantly, wonderful pickin'! The blue David Paul Signature reminds me of a Chet Atkins model. Does it have HRW's or Schallers?
golferwave Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 Beautiful guitar, but more importantly, wonderful pickin'! The blue David Paul Signature reminds me of a Chet Atkins model. Does it have HRW's or Schallers? I don't see a dot on the 3 way switch knob so as fxdx99 says... those schallers sound good for fingerpickin ... this guy can really play!
Krohawk1 Posted January 25, 2009 Posted January 25, 2009 I am told that when David Paul received this guitar, he sent it back because of the short scale and no center block. Also, he prefered a ebony fingerboard and wanted HRW pick-ups. He also asked that the second proto-tpye needed more sustain, and wanted a center block all the way down to the bottom. This guitar is significantly lighter than the production model which is rumored to weigh in at 11 lbs., because of the large center block. I purchased the guitar from Jay Wolfe.
