DonA Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 I finally bought a Heritage H-150! I've wanted one since buying my H-535 last year. Like my H-535, this will replace a similar Gibson. It was dirty, and the nut needed a little attention, but It's all good now. What a nice guitar!

DonA Posted November 30, 2021 Author Posted November 30, 2021 The weight of this guitar is just right for me- just under 9 pounds. The neck is a nice rounded shape and good size. The pickups are a tad hotter than I like- maybe because of the alnico 5 magnets, but I don't plan to change them. I changed the wiring to so called Gibson '50s wiring. I do that on every guitar- including my H-535. It works for me. I was surprised about the nut. The string height over the all of the frets was good, but the high E and B strings buzzed like a sitar. It turns out that there wasn't enough back angle it the slots towards the headstock. A few swipes of a nut file fixed that. I assume the guitar shipped that way.
