ingeneri Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 While I've dodged getting this :this_thread_is_useless_withou, I finally have some nice shots of this great Heritage. You can check out some cool pics of me playing my Super Eagle with the Jimmy Burrell Quintet during inaugeration weekend at http://www.myspace.com/ingeneri For the non-Myspace crowd, here's an alternative profile: http://jazzguitarlife.ning.com/profile/MattIngeneri Hope you enjoy.
Gitfiddler Posted January 26, 2009 Posted January 26, 2009 Ingeneri~ Man, you are the real deal! Love the Super Eagle, but your playing is what its all about. How in the world do you avoid feedback, standing in front of that (Deluxe?) amp? 8)
yoslate Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 ingeneri: Visited your site and some attendant pages. I'm so cheap, I still have dial up, so I wasn't able to download anything...yet. I'll try this weekend, when I can let it run while I...vacuum the house or go to the market.... The pics of the Super were just that. Great to see one out, and I'm anxious to hear it. You do seem the business. Had my Super out with the boys last night.... Jeez...what a box! I saw Jack Wilkins' name on your site. Quite a player! Good to see you check in at the HOC. slate
111518 Posted January 27, 2009 Posted January 27, 2009 Very very cool --can't beat big beautiful guitars and playing in a suit. Thanks, Ingeneri.
fxdx99 Posted January 28, 2009 Posted January 28, 2009 Awesome! Both the playing and the pics. Thanks!
ingeneri Posted January 28, 2009 Author Posted January 28, 2009 Ingeneri~ Man, you are the real deal! Love the Super Eagle, but your playing is what its all about. How in the world do you avoid feedback, standing in front of that (Deluxe?) amp? 8) Thanks for the comments guys. Git, the Super Eagle can howl if you let it, but is much better about this than I thought. I generally just have to stand either off sides or away from the amp. Still, those lower notes can take off if you let them. So part of it is just knowing to avoid holding certain tones or voicings for too long a time. I bought this guitar as an indulgence since it was a steal on ebay, but it's since become my favorite instrument by far.
