kbp810 Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Just showing off the finished "Emmatron" (as so named by my daughter) that was briefly shown while in progress in the spare parts build thread. Just a basic 5F1 champ in a 1x12 cab; though she did actually do a fair amount of work on it. I did all the steps requiring use of power tools, but she did all the sanding, applying the blue dye and finish, some of the assembly work, and she soldered the components to the board (I took over once the board was in the chassis).
Steiner Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 It probably took 3, even 4 times as long to do this with KBP810-the younger. What you passed on in that time is a lesson that she will never forget. Kudos and a +1 to you for passing on a piece of you to the next generation!
rockabilly69 Posted July 13, 2022 Posted July 13, 2022 Fantastic, what a little go getter! And it's the kind of amp she can keep forever!
skydog52 Posted July 15, 2022 Posted July 15, 2022 They grow up fast! The last time I saw her she was a baby. She'll remember this forever. Great Daddy-Daughter project!
