MusicAng3l Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Hi! I got a deal on a H150 “Custom Shop” Aged from 2018. The Serialnumber is handwritten and starts with AI. Hasnt the custom core line started in 2020? Which pickups are in those 2018 aged H150s? Maybe someone knows a bit about the 2018 aged run.
DetroitBlues Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 When Heritage was experimenting with the aged process, they initially offered it on the standard model H150 at no extra cost. Ran that for about a year. Shortly after that, the Artisan Aged option became an upcharge. Eventually, the Custom Core H150 design came out and offers the Artisan Aged. Heritage does not do the aging process internally, or at least when it first started. They outsourced it to another company as they aged the not just the woods but the hardware as well. Hope this helps.
MusicAng3l Posted December 12, 2022 Author Posted December 12, 2022 It would be this one but I am not sure what exactly it is. https://max.guitars/en-eu/heritage-custom-shop-collection-h-150-aged-sunburst I dont think it is a custom shop because the serial numbers says AI so its must be 2018. Maybe the standard limited europe run with the antiquity pickups?
DetroitBlues Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Many, including myself consider every Heritage a custom shop model since the output levels are low compared to much larger companies. So it's often stated Custom Shop model when the actual Custom Shop is still in its infancy.
