Genericmusic Posted April 23, 2023 Posted April 23, 2023 Shared from Facebook. As I continue to build guitars here in the shop, I am sometimes asked about a guitar that I designed for Gibson and though I never designed one for Gibson, I did one time design one for Heritage. It never went into actual production but professional pictures were made, complete with specs. It was called the Heritage H-125 Rambow and was a variation on my offset design. The pre-Plaza floating pick ups for the archtop models were made by Ken Rambow.
bolero Posted April 24, 2023 Posted April 24, 2023 Wow, I've heard of that, very cool! Looks good in red. I guess you could say: you drew first blood? Groan....I'll see myself out
y2kc Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 Kenny also makes his own guitars and before the big turn-over, Heritage was finishing them. I imagine those days are over.

bolero Posted April 25, 2023 Posted April 25, 2023 For some reason I thought those had tele pickups in them? Maybe I saw pics of a different model: it was years ago
y2kc Posted April 26, 2023 Posted April 26, 2023 Talked to Mike at Heritage and the Whale was sold during the garage sale. The Blue Whale is out there somewhere.
