FredZepp Posted January 1 Posted January 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR !! I like to start it off with some time with the ultimate Custom Archtop.. The Heritage Eagle Centurion. Check out that figured maple back and that headstock..!!
bolero Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Fred's pics aren't showing for me, but I've seen it before in real life, it's incredible! Happy New Year everybody
TalismanRich Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Yeah, I can't see them either, tried all 3 browsers.... but I've seen it as well. It's gorgeous!
kbp810 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 Seeing the Centurion is always a great way to start the New Year!
LK155 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 You know, there was a time when Fred would just let any stranger who wandered by try out the Centurion. This pic is from the 2010 PSP. All I remember about it is that it's BIG (I think I was playing an H137 at the time) and I'd better be damn careful with it. A masterpiece.
yoslate Posted January 3 Posted January 3 As the swallows' return to Capistrano...The Centurion returns to the forum. Good to hear from you, Fred!
FredZepp Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 I'm on a different computer today and not seeing the photos either. I'll try to re-post , some of the new pics are pretty nice. (but not professional or anything)

So many great memories from seeing you and the gang at PSP get togethers... We were so fortunate to have been gifted with those experiences...
Genericmusic Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I believe the Centurion was a Larry Perking design and build. I wonder whatever happened to him. He was a nice guy and an accomplished guitarist.

Also, there's mention of the builder, Larry Perkins, who according to one of the HOC members, worked for Benedetto after leaving Heritage.
hinesarchtop Posted January 5 Posted January 5 I was thinking about this guitar last week! It's always a treat for my eyes. Thanks for sharing.
FredZepp Posted January 12 Author Posted January 12 Hopefully you can see the photos now.. I like the one of the back, look closely. It is unique.
