Bloethner Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Hello, Can anyone tell me how many David Paul H550's Heritage made? THANKS, Bruce
Genericmusic Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Try calling the Heritage Factory. (269) 247-5405 Ask for Rendal Wall. If anyone would know he will. Good luck.
MartyGrass Posted February 16 Posted February 16 I don't know the number, but I know there were several prototype. The guitar begins as a thinline H-550. They added some Gretsch-inspired electronics, HRW pickups, and a Bigsby. David didn't like the sustain, so they put in a center block. That's the final prototype and the one I have. The next ones had signatures on the headstock and pickguard. Pros: Play well, sounds great, dramatic and beautiful blue Cons: Heavier than a H-555, although I have H-157s that weigh as much 1
Bloethner Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 Yes, I have one in Translucent blue and it's a 10 pounder. Is yours the one with the dot inlays? 1
tsp17 Posted February 28 Posted February 28 (edited) Very cool artist model! I have an H-550 ‘Custom’ and love it. Not a signature model, but definitely my go to gigging instrument if I think we’re going to get loud. It will occasionally feedback but only in limited circumstances. Edited February 28 by tsp17
pressure Posted February 28 Posted February 28 It's great that they kept the style of fretboard inlays all the way down.
LonelyLefty Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Impressive and unique looking guitar. I bet it sounds amazing? 1
