cod65 Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 1982 Gison Les Paul Deluxe Left Hand http://tinyurl.com/aof85e So how would this year compare to an Heritage? priced at 1625$ Seems like its pretty close in value.price. Also can we assume that our boys had a hand in its construction ? How did the upcoming Heritage's in mid 80's change in construction ?
brentrocks Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 It seems to me that the LP Deluxes bring good $$$ because of the minibuckers. So many of them were routed out in later years. To use my '88 H-150 (1st year production) as a comparison. My friend Tom has a '74 Deluxe which i have played quite a few times. The gibson has a 3-piece top, the Heritage a 2-piece top gibson had a 2-piece back, Heritage 1 piece i think his gibby was a pancake body...Heritage solid wood not sure on the tenon bindings seem to be pretty much the same
Kuz Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Listed as '82 Vintage Gibson. So now guitars from the 80s are vintage, yea right?!?
cod65 Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Well, a child of the same age would be quite an adult , hopefully. Better get used to it! :'(
