ElNumero Posted August 7 Posted August 7 (edited) So while at PSP last Friday before the plant tours began, we all mull around in the Heritage guitar showroom looking at all the beautiful works of art hanging on the walls. Hanging in the corner all lonely by itself was a 155 Millennium in trans Wine with gold hardware. The Guitar was built in 2016 and apparently taken to a few trade shows and then put up in a case somewhere as it never got sold. Mike Ortiz found it in the back in a case and took it out hung it up in the showroom, and when I laid eyes on it, I knew it had to be mine. I worked out the details with Mike and he said they would go over the guitar and then ship it to me this week because I was driving back to Florida. Well, I received a communication from him this morning that the Guitar had a little bit of finish checking on the top that he was unaware of and so was I. That doesn’t bother me that much but it was able to gain an additional discount on the guitar and today went through a PLEKING job and a buffing, and he’s putting a new bridge and stop tail on it with a full set up. These guys at Heritage, both Pete Farmer and Mike Ortiz are the real deal and the fact that they went so far above and beyond for me on this guitar is a true testimonial. It’s things like this that keep me very loyal to the brand. I will post more pics soon as I receive it. Edited August 7 by ElNumero 4
HANGAR18 Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Will, That's really cool that you grabbed that! We all talked about that guitar on this forum at least a year ago when it showed up in someone's photos at the factory. I did some digging, found out it was for sale, contacted the factory, discussed price and was about 30 seconds away from buying it... when suddenly I got cold feet and didn't pull the trigger. But I came THAT close to buying it. It looks awesome and I really like that color. Glad it is in the HOC family now!

And your positive it’s the same one? Edited August 8 by ElNumero

It immediately brought back memories of the one I acquired from you by trading my Neptune blue 575 to you. I just can’t remember what the exact finish was called of the one I acquired from you.

The thread would be a bit difficult but I would start looking at previous PSP factory photos where it would have turned up when someone posted photos of the showroom. It might be easier for me to dig up the email thread on my computer where I was communicating with the factory before I transitioned to phone calls.

Yep, same one. 2016 NOS Heritage H-155M Wine Red in the showroom. August 31, 2023. I talked to a guy named Mike about it.

He’s a heck of a nice guy, but now it shocks me that that guitar sat around for a whole year after you first had interested in it!! 1

Since you didn’t see it in person you would’ve had no idea that it had finished checking on it or perhaps the checking wasn’t there a year ago. Edited August 8 by ElNumero

Hey Tim, just realized “our” former girl didn’t have F holes like the new girl I am getting. Does that change the model designation and do you know if the internal construction the same?

They're both H155M as far as I know. The construction is similar with a hollowed out center core as shown in the below image. It's my understanding that the F-hole version was further modified to become the fancier Millennium 2000 ltd. ed.

Millennium Maestro Posted August 10 Posted August 10 (edited) Under Plaza all Millennium models got lumped under the 155M model. They were trying to production run the Pro which had VERY limited units in the golden era featuring the sharp horn... All featured the previously mention Solid hollow design, Plaza removed the figured maple front and back specs with the 155M design. Skydog had a nice VO Pro... Maybe he will chime in My NOS Pro. https://www.gbase.com/gear/heritage-millennium-pro-ssb-sunset-burst Edited August 10 by Millennium Maestro
skydog52 Posted August 10 Posted August 10 (edited) I ordered Millennium Pro's from the Good Guys. One single cut and two double cuts. The double cuts are the only ones I have seen made. Edited August 10 by skydog52 1 1
