1989 Heritage H140 NGD

Recommended Posts

Another great Heritage find!!!  From Heritage’s golden era. Picked this up Friday locally.  I love doing local deals, it’s so much nicer to see and hold and play before you buy.

1989 Heritage H140 in ASB (Antique Sunburst)

Tons of upgrades!!!   Some done by the previous owner, some done by me.

Locking TONEPROS tailpiece

Locking Callahan bridge

Vintage Seymour Duncan 59s

RS Guitarworks Vintage style harness

Switchcraft toggle with 50s wiring

Locking Grover tuners

Dark amber speed knobs

Amber switch tip

Toggle poker chip

For 35 years old, this H140 is in great condition with no issues whatsoever.   No breaks.  No repairs.

The neck is the typical 60s medium C carve that was the norm during the early years at Heritage.

It’s only 7 lbs!   Very well balanced.

The original frets show minimal wear.

It sports a one piece mahogany body topped with an amazing flame maple top!!  One piece mahogany neck topped with a beautiful, dark and streaky rosewood fretboard.

I have it setup with 9s and the action is nice n low.   Plays like butter!!!   The tone from the old Duncan’s is absolutely amazing!!!  Rich warm tone!!!

Just an amazing Heritage from the golden age of the HERITAGE GUITAR COMPANY!!!

I thought you had retired? Amyway, that is a cool guitar for sure! I have one a little older and it is just an all round solid guitar. Enjoy it!
