Probabaly going to sell one of my H150s but I pulled that plate off and usually there is a sticker saying what it is and what color the guitar is, etc.

This one has nothing. Hmm.....it looks kind of dirty lemon but not 100% sure. Any ideas?

It's really hard to tell without seeing it...

I get that.  was just wondering if there is another way to tell like by seriel number or if there is another place it may be hidden.

None that I am aware of. I bought 2 new H-150s in '21, a Standard and a CC. Neither came with the label inside the cavity cover. I believe they may have stopped using them.

This one is a k seriel number so it should have one but......

The most consistent thing about earlier Heritages is the inconsistency.  Most but not all had labels.  They may have run out of stickers, time, or motivation to pen in the information.  It usually only says the model number, finish (usually), and serial number (often).  Sometimes some of the builders sign it.

If it's a lemon burst sort of thing they may have called it a vintage sunburst (VSB).  That's yellow that transitions toward orange-red.

Thanks Mark! Now that I think about it I bought it from someone on this site and I think they said that it was a VSB. I never really gave it much thought as I assumed that I could always take the plate off if I wanted to sell it and needed to know what it was.

What music store were you talking about?  That's like a fire sale.  I had inside information on wholesale prices on Heritage, which was similar to Gibson.  Large buyers paid 50-55% of retail price for their stores.  One high volume shop bought at 45%, as I recall.  A BOLO would indicate a liquidation attempt.
