Does Heritage sell the 225 classic humbuckers and how much are they?

I don't think they sell any of their 225 pickups, except for in a guitar.   I wonder if they would put 225s in a standard guitar, like they did with the old HRWs.

I didn't get the impression that they are in any way based on HRWs.   I even asked the fellow who winds the pickups at Heritage about HRWs during the tour last year (Has Ren told you his secret sauce?").   I remember Ren smiling, but no comment.  

Has anyone ever tested HRWs to know what type of magnet it has?   Measure the resistance and inductance values?  Cryogenicly treated with liquid Nitrogen?    We know it was based on the Schallers, but everything else was just speculation.   

My take was that Heritage is trying to get a "vintage PAF" sound.   However, what that means is pretty vague.   EVERYONE is going for that sound,  from Seth Lovers, to CustomBuckers,  Mojotone 59s,  Dimarzio PAF Anniversary,  etc, etc.   Everybody using different magnets (including Gibson in the PAF era).  The number of winds varies, so resistance varies.  I think most are using 42gauge enamel wire.

The 225 Humbuckers and HRWs are night & day and completely different.

The 225s use A3s and the HRWs use (I believe I am correct) A5s.

I have a set of aged 225 Humbuckers that came out of my 150 CC.

I've measured the HRW's in my 2001 H535...

The magnets are almost certainly A5, but they do read a bit stronger than typical. The external appearance is the same as the Schaller pickups. I didn't unsolder the covers on mine to look inside, but they are definitely made out of Schaller components, with the different spacing of the poles for the neck and bridge, double mounting screws, etc. 

The rest of electrical measurements are very similar to the SD SH-2 jazz set. 

I'm super happy with them in the 535. I like them as much as the ThroBaks that were in a Collings I35LC I played not long ago.

They are modeled after the Custom Bucker pickups in Gibson's Custom Shop guitars.  I have a Gibson Custom Shop 335 and a Custom Core with 225 Pickups.  They are nearly identical, both sets use A3 magnets.   Edwin Wilson came from the Gibson Custom Shop to oversee/engineer the Custom Core line for Heritage, so he brought the Custom Bucker humbucker model with him.  The 225s are a vintage PAF clone, the HRWs are much hotter.  The 225s and HRWs are completely different animals.  I liked the HRWs in my Golden Eagle Jazz box, but I didn't like them in solid body 150s or Semi-hollow 535/555 guitars.
