DetroitBlues Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 (edited) Just to build off my previous thread, here’s a before and after of my pedal board adventures. With exception to the noise suppressor, I am able to achieve the same tonal options with less pedals… The Wampler has a pre/post input/outputs, similar to an effects loop. I have programmed some effects like Phaser and Univibe to be in front of the amp/gain pedals. Others such flanger, chorus, etc are post gain that I have running through the effects loop of my amp. The Delay and Reverb combos also run from the post output so they are also outside of the gain stages. Edited November 27, 2024 by DetroitBlues
bolero Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 That looks more elegant for sure! So you have more pedals by your amp? Or the wampler does all that?
Anthony Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 Does the Falcon do anything besides look effing cool?

bolero Posted January 8 Posted January 8 I wish I had a pick holder that magically snapped up all the picks that fly out of my fingers, while playing. I had a pet gecko lizard once, they're pretty quick maybe I could train one. And let him live in my pedalboard. 1
tbonesullivan Posted January 9 Posted January 9 One of these days, I'll actually put together a Guitar pedalboard based around the Plethora X5. Just trying to decide if I want to get an outboard Noise SUpressor, or to use the "Sentry" that is part of the pedal. Also gotta get a pedalboard that can handle a Bad Horsie Wah.

I had one of those on my radar, but changed my mind only because it needed its own dedicated power source as it has a high millwatt draw that exceeded my power supply.
