big bob Posted December 14 Posted December 14 Not sure if this is the correct place to post this … but… were t-shirts made for every psp? If not what year did we start?
TalismanRich Posted December 14 Posted December 14 I have one from every PSP starting with #2. I don't know if there was one for the 1st PSP. One year wasn't a tee shirt, it was blue with buttons, if I recall. I would need to go up and root through the closet to see. A few years we even had hats.

I did Nike polo shirts for PSP VII, year or so before was a mechanic button down work shirt with a Heritage label on the back.

Whatever year was the green t-shirt with silk-screen...I've worn it so much most of the silk screening is gone. There were many "good" shirts over the years. Don't believe there were shirts for PSP I, though. @Jim W did the banners and a bunch of other stuff and of course @brentrocks lined up the venue and was master of ceremonies. I don't remember shirts from that one, though. Not to sidetrack, but was PSP I the one where @fxdx99 won the H-530? I think PSP II or PSP III he (Randy) gave me a ride from the barn to the factory in his big ass Cadillac Fleetwood. That was something. Good times.
LK155 Posted December 16 Posted December 16 (edited) I believe fxdx99's prize was a white H555. I still have a coffee cup and Heritage hat from PSP1. Just tried to add a couple of pix from 2008 but can't make it work. Yes, I know, max size of all images per post is 1.5mb, but I'm under that and nothing shows up. Oh well... fxdx99 Posted December 16 Posted December 16 Good times indeed. T-shirts for PSP1 same logo as banner so maybe JimW had something to do w/them as well. And the HOC guitar, that I still play, is a sunburst 555. Think Kenny won the white 555 the next year. I really liked that Caddy (from PSPIII, I missed II) - floated on the freeway and made the Minnie to Michi trip many many times. 2
Doug Posted December 16 Posted December 16 (edited) These are a couple designs I worked on back around 2010 - 2011. Edited December 16 by Doug 2
skydog52 Posted December 17 Posted December 17 I started looking around for shirts and the main thing I got from this exercise is I have way too many t-shirts! Here are a few but I know I attended more PSPs than this sample. I'll find them some day. 2

For some reason I thought you had won a natural finish, hollow body jazz box thing (not that a 555 isn't a hollow body jazz box thing). Maybe an H-525? Or perhaps someone had just brought one to the PSP and I'm conflating two different things. Which is entirely likely.

I have such a guitar as you describe, Sir Jon, and likely brought it to a PSP. 3
LK155 Posted December 17 Posted December 17 I've heard that one's memory deteriorates as we age. At least I think that's what I heard. 1
bolero Posted December 17 Posted December 17 I'll have to take stock of my t-shirts. I have a few HOC shirts but I have so many bloody t-shirts I stopped acquiring them. Maybe once they wear out I'll need some more. I have one of those Heritage ball caps too. Thanks Doug!

Just got the "giveaway" part wrong is all. @LK155..I guess some small part of my cognitive function remains intact. Maybe. Possibly?
Jim W Posted Thursday at 10:12 PM Posted Thursday at 10:12 PM (edited) The first year, as shown above, I did the shirt logo. We also made shirts for the Employees with this logs: Edited Thursday at 10:23 PM by Jim W 3
Dick Seacup Posted Friday at 01:26 AM Posted Friday at 01:26 AM I have a soft spot for the PSPs at the barn. So many good memories. Lizzy chasing fireflies. The garden shed. The bridge over nowhere-near-troubled waters. Rob's wineburst H-150. Randy's Caddy. Ron and his knee-high tube socks at the factory. The t-shirts, banners, food. Just the general camaraderie. It was a magical time. 6
