bolero Posted March 15 Posted March 15 I thought I'd seen that on another boutique LP style gtr. Can't remember the brand. I like the chunky traditional neck joint. Never really had a problem with it, and that might get unsightly over time as the pieces of wood shrink & expand. But there would be easier access to those weedly-weedly frets.

The transition make it feel smooth, not like you were bumping into the top, where you had to change your grip. I haven't seen any indications of those anywhere else. Where did these pics come from?
