DLDTEX Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 The guitar came in from San Diego today. Bob did a fantastic job packing the guitar. The neck needed a little tweaking, UPS probably drove it overt the Rockies. I did get in on a couple of amps and I am very impresses by the tone. The guitar is very resonant and warm. It sounds as great as it looks. I am pleased to a Heritage owner again. I will upload pictures soon because I know :this_thread_is_useless_withou Later TEX

tulk1 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Derek, Try this. Take a clean polishing cloth and your guitar polish. Apply a small amount to the cloth and start wiping the back of the guitar. Not that it's dirty or needs cleaning - not saying that. But what should happen is the flame will take on a more 3D effect as you wipe the guitar. Keep looking at the figuring and pretty soon the peaks and valleys will become even MORE complex and defined with the bit of added "moisture". You can almost get lost in the flames as the polish gives them some life. Not that they aren't lively and complex as they are. The back is a good place to do this because of the wide expanse of wood. Just try it.
