Spectrum13
I like the looks of the tuna & stoptail plus you have much more options for saddles, and materials. If you are looking for warmer, I would go hog and rosewood. My 155 millie has an ebony board, hog neck and maple top, back and sides. Ebony seams a lot faster and brighter to me. Kuz
GOT to go Mahogany & Rosewood for ultimate warmth. Just my opinion but you also get more lows & especially low mids with the M & RW combo. Ebony is wonderful on acoustics & archtops though. And Jazziers do want warmth, but they want quick attack and less sustain (each note to be more defined), thus why Maple & Ebony necks. SofaPlayer
Thanks, I appreciate your reply. I think it deserves a lot of respect that you went through the pain of a Custom order only to get exactly what you want.
Mikenov
I changed out the Schaller stuff on my 535 for Tone Pro's and there is a deffinately sonic difference. I can't really say it sustains better or anything. But it is a tighter sound. The main reason for changing honestly was the Tone Pros are locking and it will reduce the maintenance on the instrument.
