jacques Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Hi everybody, Some of you may remember my story about the H-127 I dug up and wrote about on my web page: http://www.jacquesguitars.com/Heritage127_English.html There's a sound file I tried to upload to that page, but it doesn't work so thanks to Kazwell I'm using the service he recommended a few topics ago: http://boomp3.com/m/45da79d60902 Since this guitar has some SG characteristics I figured it would be nice to try an old SG tune before I sold the 127 to a good friend who fell in love with it. Enjoy and feel free to comment.
Kuz Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Very nice. Great tone. did you use an amp mic'd or Pod? oh and plus :uwp:
jacques Posted December 24, 2007 Author Posted December 24, 2007 Thanks Kuz! I used an old (1977) Fender Vibro Champ (6 watts) and the output was mic'd with a condenser (tube) microphone. I aim at the most natural sound so I'd rather not have the output processed and digitalized by a Pod or GT-8. I could be wrong, since everything gets digitalized in the computer anyway... A great many pics are on the website. H127front.jpg H127front.jpg_thumb
Kazwell Posted December 24, 2007 Posted December 24, 2007 Nice tone and playing to match! Glad to see you are taking advantage of the link to BooMp3. It works out perfect for these types of scenarios. Looking forward to hearing more of your fine work in the future! Have a great holiday
