SouthpawGuy Posted March 24, 2009 Posted March 24, 2009 I've found one that looks pretty good. Thank you for sharing. 8)

peterbright Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 My Omega Unit call sign is...never mind.
peterbright Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n144/peterbright/ProspectFront001.jpg[/img] No Drooling allowed.
peterbright Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 I'm not wild about the pickguard. A wood one in natural would be the ticket.
tulk1 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n144/peterbright/ProspectFront001.jpg[/img] No Drooling allowed. Oh ... that one. Yeah. Nice. ;D
Dick Seacup Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I kind of like that pickguard. Goes well with the pup rings and the switch tip. The knobs, though...too gold.
Spectrum13 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 P'Bright, Very nice Prospect you got. Since you signed up in November 08, how many Heritage guitars have you collected? I think you got a bad case of H G.A.S.
Gitfiddler Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Peter~ Nice score! That's the first Natural Prospect I've seen. Have you played it yet, or is this a cyber purchase?
peterbright Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 It's a cyber purchase & doesn't get shipped until tomorrow. She weighs 7 lbs 11 oz & has Kent Armstong Pickups. Let's See That Makes: Super Eagle, Eagle, H575, H535, H150 P90's & Now Prospect. Those 525's are lookin' hot though.
peterbright Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n144/peterbright/ProspectBack001.jpg[/img] Here's her back side. Yes a Millennium...it has crossed my mind.
Paul P Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Nice guitar. I don't understand the picture, it looks like the bottom is rounded over ? In the first picture of the front I figured it was just some trick of the lighting or the case, or maybe some sort of photoshop, but now the back also looks like this. So what happens to the binding at the bottom ?
CJTopes Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 Does that have the wood block that connects both sides? I inquired about one that looked like that at a place called Adirodack Guitars.
Spectrum13 Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 She's got the case felt rubbin on her bottom. Floating blocks.
peterbright Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n144/peterbright/prospector.jpg[/img] Not a great picture but you can see it better out of the case. They say it was custom ordered with a solid block.
Dick Seacup Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 I would keep the pickguard the way it is. If it had super-blingity-bling inlays, maybe I'd change it out for a matching wood guard. The way it looks right now, though, is perfection. That is a working guitar, or should be. Leave it as is and play the hell out of Lee Rittenour tunes, man!
peterbright Posted March 25, 2009 Author Posted March 25, 2009 I was thinking of a Rock/Grass fusion version of Wildwood Flower with lots of reverb & vibrato.
CJTopes Posted March 25, 2009 Posted March 25, 2009 http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n144/peterbright/prospector.jpg[/img] Not a great picture but you can see it better out of the case. They say it was custom ordered with a solid block. That's the one, no wonder he didn't get back to me!
