Steiner Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 525 tonal nirvana Porn (clinck on pics to enlarge) and btw don't search to buy, she is home with me!! > A virgin eh? ;D There's something about a blonde fiddle with mahogany neck that gets my blood flowing! Thank you Gentlemen!
brentrocks Posted March 26, 2009 Posted March 26, 2009 Brentrocks, that is one good looking H-525, is the top on your H-525 a standard one, or did you opt for the flamier version, with the upcharge? Thanks dude ;D I'm actualy the 3rd owner of that 525...."Heritage525" was the 1st owner and i bought it from the guy that Steve sold it to. I guess it was one of the 1st 525 made? It is a sweet axe, no doubt...a tone machine!!! But to answer your question, i dont think it is an upgraded top.
VJonathan Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 TS: Is this picture of the H 525 from Heritage?
Thundersteel Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I knew it. That's my guitar. Really? I got that pic off of a dealer's website.
VJonathan Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Seems Kuz spoke too soon. I purchased mine from Jay Wolfe. Dead ringer to mine...scary. This picture doesn't seem to fit Jay's web template.
Scooter Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 525 = straight up jazz, old school chicago blues 535 p-90 = rock, blues, jazz/fusion. what ever a 535 can do but better (cause it's got p-90s) I always love Kuz's mathamamusical equations! I would love to have an entire chart of those with every heritage model and every pickup worth mentioning! ;D
Scooter Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 What's a 525???!!! There appears to be no reference to them on the Heritage site ??? The 525s with P-90s is a Wolfe Guitar special. There's a bunch of them on their site.
Scooter Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Other dealers have them as well, FWIW. Is that something recent, Thundersteel? Did Heritage end up deciding to make this a standard issue guitar?
psda Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 That's how she looks like with a pickguard. http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/vv134/psda/DSCN0040.jpg[/img]
SouthpawGuy Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Does anyone know how much a 525 is new in right hand ? No major upgrades just the basic model / Lollars ? (if there is such a thing as a basic model)
Heritage525 Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I paid $2200 for mine, brand new in 2006. Find a used one if you can.

brentrocks Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 I thought i would do a little tone demo on my 525...dont laugh too hard..... ;D
Jazzpunk Posted March 27, 2009 Author Posted March 27, 2009 Brent you rock! Thanks for that demo man. Not enough out there on these guitars. My gas for a 525 just went up ten fold! Karma up!
SouthpawGuy Posted March 27, 2009 Posted March 27, 2009 Nice one Brent ! I really like the controlled feedback, very cool :afro: The clean tone is also very striking, I expected it to be a lot darker ! ... p.s. thanks for the GAS.

Its fun playing w/ the feedback...its amazing how that thing can go from [glow=red,2,300]howl[/glow] to [glow=red,2,300]growl[/glow] Paul, you really need one of these in your collection!!! >
Scooter Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Brent you rock! Thanks for that demo man. Not enough out there on these guitars. My gas for a 525 just went up ten fold! Karma up! I'm with Jazzpunk here. That was cool, Brent! About a month ago I put up my first post here and asked if a hollow body guitar could rock and you said yes. You weren't kidding. Now I see, hear and believe! You are making me reconsider my first choice on a Heritage. Thanks for givin' that to us. Loved it. GAS can be painful sometimes. Like now.
Thundersteel Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 Is that something recent, Thundersteel? Did Heritage end up deciding to make this a standard issue guitar? I'm not sure. But I have seen it at two other dealers--J. Hale Music and Bass Exchange.
