Gitfiddler Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Great looking Prospect, Peter! Congrats. Hey, if those are Golden Age p'ups, why do they have single screws in the rings? Are they not the same as Schalers? More importantly, how do they sound?
tulk1 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Great looking Prospect, Peter! Congrats. Hey, if those are Golden Age p'ups, why do they have single screws in the rings? Are they not the same as Schalers? More importantly, how do they sound? Just noticed the single screws in the pup ring. They been swapped! Bet they're SDs of some kind, now. Just guessing, mind you. Man, getting that Prospect gas going again. When I ordered the Millie NFH it was that or a Prospect. And since they wouldn't do a solid top Prospect I went for the Millie. But I needs me one o'them.
Bluzman54 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I love my Prospect to the point that I am going to sell my H535......... Jim C
Paul P Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Nice. What's that say? 2 Golden --- Age pickups? Really? We know the Schallers being made into HRWs are Golden Age. But I've got to believe that is the first sticker I've seen with it in print. On Schaller's site their humbuckers are called Golden 50s. Stewmac sells Golden Ages. Are they the same thing ?

peterbright Posted April 2, 2009 Author Posted April 2, 2009 They are Kent Armstrong Golden Age Pups (according to the dealer)
SouthpawGuy Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 The Prospect in this thread is a different one to the one in the other thread, hardware, wood grain and maybe the pickups also ?
