stevieboy Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 That's the post that I knew had to be out there somewhere! It's a little earlier in date than I thought to look when I was skimming threads. Kuz put a dash in P-90 which is why it didn't turn up in my search--d'oh, I should have tried it that way. I actually don't live near Wolfe's, opposite coast in fact, but I did buy my H137 from him in the store when I was in the area. Thanks.
Kuz Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Well, Stevieboy. What would you like to know about the 535 p-90? If you ask me a specific question I'd be happy to answer. First off, most of the guys around here are SICK of hearing me talk about my "First ever production 535 p-90" guitar. Secondly, it is my prediction that you want see dealers getting the 535 p-90 without someone special ordering one first. There aren't that many Heritage dealers to begin with and I literally had to twist Heritage's arm to start making them. Even though they are a production guitar, they are more of a niche guitar, so you will probably have to order one to get one. Good luck. Ask a question and I'd be happy to answer. I haven't been closed lipped about this wonderful instrument.
brentrocks Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 First off, most of the guys around here are SICK of hearing me talk about my "First ever production 535 p-90" guitar. Oh com 'on now KUZ....this place wouldnt be the same without your colorful canter about your Heritages ;D
Kuz Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Oh com 'on now KUZ....this place wouldnt be the same without your colorful canter about your Heritages ;D  Let's just say it's the first time I have been accused of being tight lipped about my Heritages.
stevieboy Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Okay, I'll leave myself a negative karma as soon as I'm old enough! Sorry, Kuz, maybe I gave the impression I was specifically accusing you of something, I didn't mean to. I guess it seemed like I was holding you responsible because you seem to be the only person that has one. I just want to hear what people think of them. I was wondering about what the more connected guys knew about likely availability, I think you've answered that as well as you can. I would like to hear some general impressions of how they sound, and you addressed that in the thread I couldn't find, but anything else you or anyone else who has played one I would love to hear anything they might have to say. Of course any sound clips anyone might have or know of would be great too. But given that I knew pretty much zero when I first checked here other than a pic on the Heritage website, I'm doing much better now, thanks. Hopefully as they turn up we'll be hearing more impressions of them, maybe Jay's crew will grace us with a youtube clip.
SouthpawGuy Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 stevieboy .... looks like you are displaying classic symptoms of P-90 GAS !
stevieboy Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 stevieboy .... looks like you are displaying classic symptoms of P-90 GAS ! Let's put it this way, if I do get a 535 with P90s, it would be just off the top of my head the seventh P90 guitar I own, not counting a parts tele that has a Harmonic Design Z90 in the neck and S90 in the bridge.
Dick Seacup Posted March 30, 2009 Posted March 30, 2009 Dammit...more cannon fodder for Kuz's Army of P90 Darkness. Grrr. ;D
