Silverburst III

In the never-ending quest to find the "perfect" H 150 silverburst, i have found yet another candidate.....

This guitar started its life as a H 150P...owned buy a professional/gigging musician who is a friend of Pete's.  The headstock was broken off some time ago and the guitar was brought to Pete to have it repaired.  The break was too severe, it had to have a new neck.

So Pete got a salvaged neck off a #2...Mahogany, Ebony board w/ traps and bound peghead!!!

The neck was glued, the guitar was sanded, ready for paint and the owner decided to switch to a 535 for his #1....and told Pete to sell the 150!!!

The price was right...so it will be [glow=red,2,300]SILVERBURST III[/glow]

Natural with gold hardware would also be cool  :afro:

:angel:

Natural Poplar? Would be different, that's for sure.

Might as well rename Heritage sliverburst to Brentburst since you're providing the only existing models to market.

      and,  ahem...  didn't you JUST sell a 150P silverburst THIS WEEK.  Geez, man, what kept ya from starting this one!  8)

i just didnt like the dots...i know that is petty, i actually knew about this one months ago, but the original owner never gave Pete a final answer on when or if he was gonna keep it or sell it.  i just found out that Silverburst III was available a couple days ago.  That was why i decided to move forward w. Silverburst II....wasnt really what i wanted, but i thought i would give it a try and see how i liked it.

That's some good-looking wood. Another vote to keep it natural.

Sorry, wrong.

Rosewood = sweet, creamy, warm

Ebony = ear piercing, gritty, less mids, ect

:P

Just my .02, YVMV!
