Millennium Maestro Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I appreciate you are using a 150 that has a bound headstock, My personal views are that plain headstocks are cheesy. Good luck, hope you enjoy her.

I like the bound headstocks and unbound as well. To call unbound headstocks "cheesy" is a bit harsh I think, especially considering that the most coveted LP & 335 from the 50s & 60s had unbound headstocks. Just my .02

The poplar is actually really warm...i expected it to be really bright w/ the ebony board. The PGs sound great too!!!
tulk1 Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 It's another poplar body? How'd I miss that? Still, very cool looking guitar, Brent. All 3 have been very nice guitars. You should have kept all 3. What am I saying ... you'll have them all back within a year.
yoslate Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Exquisite, Brent! Well done! Best one of the three!
pro-fusion Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Sweet! That turned out the best of the three, I think. I played an actual '81 Silverburst this weekend, though it's now more of a sickly green burst. Sweet guitar, but I'm sure it was a silly asking price (I didn't even bother to ask).
