Paul P Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 . Now here is a strange beast : found at http://www.rare-guitars.co.uk/guitars-rare.html The site says it's a 1991 Heritage SAE Cutaway.
brentrocks Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 looks like it was left out in the sun and it started to melt
tulk1 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 There is a white one that keeps showing up on the 'bay. Seems someone will buy it and a month later it's back for sale. Had not seen the ... natural? ... top before. Very strange beast, indeed.
the jayce Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 i just dont know where to go with this one, part of me says what was heritage thinking, but then the other part screams two thumbs up on the originality. very interesting git...... how does it sound?
Paul P Posted April 17, 2009 Author Posted April 17, 2009 What I find weird is the bridge and Schaller tailpiece. They seem out of place on an otherwise archtop-like guitar. "It has a Mike Christian transducer bridge and is perfect for the acoustic player who likes to play electric now and again. It will never ever feedback."
michaeljames Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I've had a lot of action selling and buying lately. I'm going to take a breather. BUT, would you folks be kind enough to let me know, if I'm out of touch, when one of these is available? Finders fee would apply of course! Thank you in advance - jimlehnen@comcast.net
Heritage525 Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I over heard Brent say that one night at the "Wayside"! I said that alot myself at CMU.
