Heritage wish list-What's next for you?

So far I'm fortunate to own an awesome 535 and have high hopes that my new 575 will be the same. Despite the fact that the 575 has not even arrived yet, I'm already dreaming about my next Heritage guitar!  ;D

As of now I'm fairly certain that a 525 and an Eagle Classic will quench my thirst and fulfill all of my guitar needs. Not sure which will be next but they are both on my 'must have' wish list.

How 'bout you guys? Collection finished? Lusting over something new? What will be your next Heritage guitar?

Today I'm living in regret. I let a 535 get passed me. insufficient  funds. Kick, kick, kick.

A 535 is pretty much the next Heritage on my list.

In the future I'd like to get another used 150 or 157 just to drop in a set of old Gibby T-Tops I have lying around.

And when my Lottery number gets pulled, a new or used 525 would round things out very nicely.  Maybe a nice dark burst.

Must save money...must save money!!! :P

I think I'm pretty much done. For now. Maybe I'll sell the Milly DC and get a 535, though. Maybe.

I must have missed the Millie...  Got any pics?

I'm done. All bases are covered so stopping at 4 cause I feel guilty if I don't get to play each one enough.

It has been six days so I have had plenty of time to think about this.

I own a 1988 Eagle, 2008 Prospect, and 2008 H-535.  Have owned a 2008 H-550 Custom (didn't like the tone).

Given that, I would like to have an H-575.....maybe give up the H535 for one- my Prospect can do whatever the 535 can do. Also, an H-525 (which I may have soon).

I'm thinking of a custom job.

H555, but with a rosewood fretboard and abalone inlays, and either a spalted maple or koa top/back/sides.

Or, a one-off design: H555 as above, but with a single sharp cutaway like on the Kenny Burrel.

Do Heritage do koa ? GAS inducing thought that one !

I would love to get my hands on a H137DC. Not sure when that will happen though.

Wouldn't mind an H555, H575 and Super Eagle to kick about either. :D

But since affording the H137 is a difficulty... won't even bother to look at the three mentioned. haha.

I'm thinking of letting the Millie SAE go to fund a Prospect. That will probably do it for me. Unless they happen to start a Tele-ish line.

This is the Millie I'm thinking of selling.

Tulk, that's a truly awesome guitar, and knowing the kind of stuff Heritage normally produces, I can only imagine what that would sound like!

Actually, I can "hear" it...I can "feel" it,...I can "smell" it,...I can visualize "diggin' in" with my 3.0 mm Dunlop Big Stubby pick,...oh man, it's gettin' too much... :P

When I say that my H150 gets a Tone of "orgasmic proportions" I'm not kiddin'...!

Anyway back to the topic.

I've always wanted a Les Paul Custom, possibly a late 60's/early 70's, so I guess an H157 would do just fine; it would be a better les Paul Custom!

That's what's planned for me next, an H157 fitted with some juicy, carefully chosen low out-put pup's.

I would LOVE a 535, but I have to be realistic as far as finances go, so it may be a 137 with Lollar P-90s on it..I bought a Epi goldtop a few years ago, and put Lollars on it, and man that sing sang!! Wish I'd never sold it now, it would compliment my 140 beautifully..Oh Well..Spilt Milk and all that..

LP,

It is an amazing guitar. Marv mentioned that it's a bit unique in that they were still playing with the final design. It's an arch top and back, laminate. If you watch Randy's vid on PSPI you can hear it in the background of most of the interviews. It does the semi thing very well. As well as rockin' out. But since getting the Miliie NFH this one has be relagated to the case most of the time. Plus, all these Prospects lately have me chompin' to finally get one. It was toss up between getting a Millie or Prospect first. So now ... it's headed for the funding pot (meaning for sale as soon as I get around to posting it).

My first Heritage was an H157 w/SD 59s. Sold that to Cosmik about a year ago or so. Beautiful guitar. Just not what I was into at the time. Sold that and bought this Millie SAE. Now --- got that Prospect fever!

I'm set.

But I am still trying to sell a Golden Eagle (Brand freakin new condition) for $2500. (I know a selfish plug.)

'Paulverizer:

I've posted in another thread or two, that at PSPI, I heard "The Tone" on the boil, down in the barn, early afternoon, as the "jam" started to come together.  Had to walk down and take a look!!!  That was it!  Kenny was wailing on that Millie...which I later found out, has the stock Schaller p'ups in it.  Can't remember the amp he was using at the time...I think it was Throbak's 18W Marshall clone.  You'd have approved!!!   8)

Oh yeah, the "what's next" for me Heritage.  That would be what will probably become known as "The Divorce Guitar."  Goes something like this:  150, trans-amber, medium ribbon curl, with a bit of random mineral stain in the top; HRW's, and a bound peghead, with the logo, inlaid; shallow "D" neck profile and 1 3/4" nut; Tone Pros hardware....  Wishful thinking....

I've just finished having my lefty H170CMSM converted to full lefty use with a tusq nut and had all the little scratches buffed out.

Once thats sold, I'll be ordering my lefty custom H110. Ebony board, translucent blue color w/black back and neck, binding on top, neck and headstock with MOP traps, tune-o-matic bridge and Duncan Stag-Mags with split-coils. I'm 90% sure it will be the very last custom guitar I have made for me. Of course... I said that about the H170. I just sold my Peavey Predator Plus EXP with the Floyd Rose on it... I'm just not a whammy dive-bomb guy after all.

I'm pretty much covered these days.  If I ran into a pot of

Money, space, and marital stability being no object, I'd like to try a custom Golden Eagle with a Lollar Charlie Christrian (like Kenny Burrell's L5 on Midnight Blue).

For stock, if, god forbid, I lost my Super Eagle, I'd probably upgrade to a Super Kenny Burrell in antique natural burst.

Been circling the drain for a 575 Mahogany.  Thinking about styling it my way with curb-feelers and everything!

Don't plan on buying a Heritage or any guitar this year (so far so good holding on to my new year's resolution...), but on the lust list is:

Super Eagle

525

Hericaster (the tele idea I've posted ad naseum in various threads)

I would love to get another 535, cherry red, with SD 59s and a Gary Moore Model with Amber pups

Definitely looking for a semi-hollow body...535 or 555, or Millie.  Maybe one of the wierd early ones if a bargain.  Oh, and Gitfiddler's Golden Eagle.  Long story.  So many guitars, so little time...
