Millennium Maestro Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Hey guys, I wanted to share my newest aquisistion... A Cool Millie with Seth Lovers and a LR Baggs Tunomatic Trat her Fnsducer Bridge. Got her friday, had to clean her up good, add top hat knobs, creme pickup rings, Remove the chrome pickup covers and gave her the full monte setup with flat wound strings. I only wish the factory installed a Zebra in the neck position, I have to call Seymour to see if I can get one to put the final touch on the guitar...I have been playing the shit out of her so if you see players grunge in the picture.."My bad"
Millennium Maestro Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 Sorry for the typo... LR Baggs Tunomatic Transducer Bridge "TOM"
Millennium Maestro Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 Better Picture!! Ps. Thanks Brent for getting rid of those ping pong cats!! I was having epileptic seizures.
DC Ron Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Better Picture!! Ps. Thanks Brent for getting rid of those ping pong cats!! I was having epileptic seizures. What a very, very, very, VERY nice guitar! Hard to believe I'm saying that about something that looks like it should belong to the Jolly Green Giant...
peterbright Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 I don't normally care for green guitars...but that is beautiful.
brentrocks Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Very nice Milli there! Good choice on the knobs....that is the same color i picked for my green LUCZAK
mars_hall Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Better Picture!! Ps. Thanks Brent for getting rid of those ping pong cats!! I was having epileptic seizures. If you haven't already, you should put pics of the green Millie and your other great guitars up in your Member's Gallery. They would look great there and represent. BTW, When I got to the point where the animated pics in member's signatures were distracting, I remembered I was using Firefox with the Adblock extension and could easily block the images I didn't want to see. Works great and everyone is happy.
Steiner Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Nice hand exerciser you found there M2! BTW, When I got to the point where the animated pics in member's signatures were distracting, I remembered I was using Firefox with the Adblock extension and could easily block the images I didn't want to see. Works great and everyone is happy. Do you mean I didn't HAVE to ignore BR's posts all this time? MH you're a genius. A way out there genius; like in a corridor on the 4th rock from the sun! Thank you both!!!
Dick Seacup Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 What a great looking guitar. When I look at the full size pictures, though, I'm reminded of lime jello. Now I'm jonesing for some.
Spectrum13 Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 very very very nice... I was playing my 155 last night too! G*D D*M great all around guitars. I was wondering how different your custom Eagle Millie is to the 155. Could you compair & contrast?
Millennium Maestro Posted May 18, 2009 Author Posted May 18, 2009 I love your guys responses, and in response!! - Sometimes I feel like the Jolly green giant... HO HO HO - I absolutely have to get a Zebra for the Neck, they only sell Seths with covers... so I am contacting Seymour about getting one uncovered with a creme top where the poles adjust. - I have looked at the adding guitar pictures to my gallery, once I get more time... Will Start adding. - Last but not least, I think I will put a shootout post of the H-155 Millie versus Millie Eagle. My own take on this little rehab... Awesome guitar, my biggest homer moment was after I pulled the cover off the bridge and saw a beautiful zebra Creme/Black Pickup... then I pulled the cover off the neck and saw an all black pickup..... Dohh I also did alot of research on this LR Baggs TOM bridge, requires a ControlX preamp to operate up to designer specs, I dont believe this is setup properly in this guitar from the factory.. premap is roughly a 80$ add on. I have had great comments on the chrome hardware, although I believe it looks good I have owned Gold on Green and thing that would be the ultimate best combination. Rock on Guys , Thanks Much. M.M
Kuz Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 Green is my favorite color. I want a green guitar now, thanks a lot! LOL That is a beautiful guitar!
Dick Seacup Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I can't stop hearing the lyrics to "Green is the Colour...". I should try and learn to play that.
JohnCovach Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 That is one attractive geetar, MM! Ribbit. It's not easy being green . . .
Millennium Maestro Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 It's not easy being green . . . Seriously funny... had a niece with that song on her Sesame street cd. LOL
