Nash535 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I just received my new 535 and am pretty jazzed about it. Looks awesome and sound nice unplugged (I'm at work). How can I verify which pickups are in this? They are SD 59's. Thanks CJS

Otherwise look for the decal/label inside the f-hole. It should say. Or if you have two screws in the pup rings, you have Schallers. And if you have Schallers with a dot on the pup switch you have HRWs.

Means taking out strings and having to unscrew the mounting rings You can look at the label through the hole...Usually says there also, assuming they have not been changed
Millennium Maestro Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I could not reply any better other than giving you the pickup code. 59 pickups have a code/tag on the bottom of the pickup the says SH-1 it will also be followed by a letter N (neck) or B (Bridge) A Link to All Pickup ID numbers just in case they are not what is expected!!! http://www.seymourduncan.com/comparetones
