High Flying Bird Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 The finely adorned man in the middle is the GREAT Pat Martino, who was at our shop to conduct a Seminar. I'll be dipped is shit! I always thought the guy in the middle was Graham after a bad drunk - thus the carpet around his neck. The tall one is me. Now that I wouldn't have told.
Dick Seacup Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 Well............Graham is wearing a world famous Wolfe Guitars t-shirt in white in that photo (Graham's the guy on the left). The finely adorned man in the middle is the GREAT Pat Martino, who was at our shop to conduct a Seminar. The tall one is me. Pat can play whatever color guitar he wants. I don't care, as long as he plays. BTW- Pat tells me his endorsement with Gib. is done & he's open to talk with Heritage. He's very complimentary of Heritage & likes the small shop aura. Pat's big into aura's. My brain began to "spin" about 10 minutes into his seminar. Heavy Cat for sure. Be cool; Jay Wolfe Get him to come to the PSP, Jay. Him, Burrell, Clark... And Smith, can't leave him out!
the jayce Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I dont know which i would rather do the most----> own a guitar that color or shit my pants.
High Flying Bird Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 I dont know which i would rather do the most----> own a guitar that color or shit my pants. Chances are you have already done one of these. I know which route is the cheaper....
Mikenov Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Hey, that guitar is a beaut! No problem playing that one here. good call Dick Seacup. It does have a rockabilly vibe to it. That top is sweet. The color isn't my first choice but I wouldn't throw it out of bed either.
smurph1 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 one word: pepto bismol.UH...That's actually 2 words..I love everything about that guitar except the color..Tone Pros hardware is the Bomb!!
Paul P Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 UH...That's actually 2 words..I love everything about that guitar except the color.. That guitar is the color.
smurph1 Posted May 27, 2009 Posted May 27, 2009 That guitar is the color.Yeah you are right..But, a can of spray paint can fix that..
Jazzpunk Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Well for better or for worse...here she is in all her glory!
mars_hall Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 This is the best recording I have heard from Jay's. The mic seems to be better placed than other recordings there. Eliminates the undesirable ambient noise/reverberation from the room... Good job rosie!

Eliminates the undesirable ambient noise/reverberation from the room... Good job rosie! I almost fell out of my chair when "Secure in his manhood" popped up. I recovered just in time for Piglet's comment. And then Joe's text got me again. Although, the tones that Joe was getting sounded like "all amp" to me, not so much guitar coming through. Jay, if you're reading this, that was a great vid, you should do them all with the humor.
SouthpawGuy Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Well for better or for worse...here she is in all her glory! Graham does a mean Fandango, love those jazzy riffs !
Dick Seacup Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Graham does a mean Fandango, love those jazzy riffs ! Thunderbolt and lightning. Very, very frightening! (Sorry, stream of consciousness...)
Kuz Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 Well for better or for worse...here she is in all her glory! So I am really enjoying Graham's playing.... then all of a sudden the high gain wanking which is typical of Wolfe's videos. Does anyone really evaluate a guitar when it's played like some high gain pointy-guitar for the 80's tone? PLEASE, if it sounds good acoustically.... If it sounds good clean.... then it will sound good? with all that gain. Did we hear a review of a semi-hollow or a Jackson with a Floyd? Sorry, I'm off my soapbox.
tulk1 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I think that guitar is pretty cool. Pink, rose or whatever foofoo color it is. Also have seen Graham toss out some tasty improv chords on a Millie I was slathering over. Dude can play whatever he wants. Would be cool if Jay or Graham could make the PSPII. Or send some bling like they did last year. I saw a whole room full of bling they could send up.

The high gain part of the clip is all about the Rivera.
SouthpawGuy Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I frequently use my 535 through a Duncan Twin Tube into the Blues Jnr or AC30, on full gain. When that thing starts blowing air out the f-holes it is the schitz ! Great for clearing the head, a good old blast off session !
bukmdano Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Just in passing, during a conversation with Graham Thursday afternoon he casually mentioned that the Pink 535 is now in someone else's hands because they sold it. As a matter of fact it sold so well, he received an order for another one. So much for it being an abomination.
