Hi all,

I'm new to the Club and would like to say hi to everyone. I live in Ireland and I've been playing since 1980 and have only recently acquired two Heritage guitars. I'm left handed and as the brand is not well distributed in the UK or Ireland I took the plunge and bought them online.

The first is an H-535 in glorious Golden Amber from the Heritage Guitars Custom Shop. I bought it from a well known guitar dealer in Florida ...

The second is an H-575 Custom in Tobacco Sunburst, also purchased from Jay.

Both guitars have "vintage" hardware and matched sets of Seymour Duncan 59's. As you can see they are sure are fine !

... if the images are too big please let me know.

Welcome to the HOC!  Lovely sticks!  And that 575 case is nicer than most of the places I've ever lived!  Ireland, is it?  May muther's family's frum County Waterford!

Thanks guys ....

cod65 ... the 575 sounds very full, especially the neck pickup with the tone rolled off. I got a real deal on it, it was actually used but in mint condition. The tune-o-matic bridge was added at my request, as I (try) to play a lot of jazz but I'm really a blues/rock player at heart and i'm inclined to bend quite a bit. The 535 and 575 have the same pickups but there is a big difference in tone, the bridge pickup on the 575 doesn't have the same bite as the 535 and I now understand why jazz boxes often only have a neck pickup.

yoslate .... the 575 case is nice alright, it fits the style of guitar very well. It's a "Guardian" case.

Hello and Welome, SouthpawGuy!

Great shots of your two Heritages.  As another southpaw (who plays righty) it's nice to see the mirror image of some of our favorite guitars.  So many makers do not have much to offer lefties, or do so with an upcharge.

Welcome and bee-yewt-ee-full geetars!

You did know they were upside down and backwards, didn't you?

;D

Yeah I know, I usually stand on my head and look in the mirror when I play.

It's kinda awkward though, I keep falling over .... I gotta get those guitars insured. ;D
