skydog52 Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Picked up my Blue Boy today at 225 Parsons. These guys are amazing! Talked to Ren,Bill and Vince. Great bunch of guys. Ren said they are slowing down just like everybody else. He said they're down to 4 days. My guitar specs H-555 Blueburst custom, HRWs, Ultra top and black button Schaller tuners. The finish is flawless. I sent them a picture of what I had in mind and they nailed it! Ren had me take a picture when I was there. More pics to follow.
fxdx99 Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Wow!!!!!!!!!!! That's... it's..... just BEAUTIFUL! That had to be a great experience to spec YOUR guitar, go right to the factory, talk with the owners, and pick it up right there. Outstanding. Isn't Heritage just THE coolest guitar mecca?!?!?!!
mars_hall Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 More pics to follow. We got to have pics of that one in the Gallery

Mikenov Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 That is just AWESOME! Blue burst is my favorite color guitar period and that top and finish is just great!
Kuz Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Faith. Faith in the most experience luthiers out there. I have ZERO doubts about their craftsmanship. Yes the occasional lemon passes through. But with some negative (and full warranted) press from HOC lately, it's good to hear & see what Heritage normally produces! That guitar is INCREDIBLE!!! Now go play the heck out of her.

He has always been fair and is a good guitar tech. Nice person. Sorry for the double post.
Scooter Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Skydog52, that's, uh...beauti, uhh; beauti, uhh; beauti, uhh...that's fantastic!!! What kind of pickups do you have in there? Wow! Enjoy!
skydog52 Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 Thanks everyone. This thing sounds great. Just plugged in after taking a few pics. Here they are.
Kuz Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 I am not usually a fan of finger rests (pickguards) on premium topped guitars, but that pickguard is looks PERFECT on that guitar. Is it too early to declare dibs if you sell her?
Kuz Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Is that the first ever Heritage Blueburst? If so you are in a very rare club!
skydog52 Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 OH YEA! Do I hear a new avatar coming SD52? Good idea
skydog52 Posted June 11, 2009 Author Posted June 11, 2009 Is that the first ever Heritage Blueburst? If so you are in a very rare club! I guess you are right. While I was checking out guitar with Ren, one of the guys told my son and daughter that was the first time they did that color. I feel very lucky. It's a looker.
Dick Seacup Posted June 11, 2009 Posted June 11, 2009 Great looking guitar! Are you bringing it to PSPII?

Paul P Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 I first noticed skydog52's avatar in another thread and asked myself where the heck that beautiful guitar came from. Hunted down this thread and immediately got drunk on the pictures. That is some color skydog52. The rest is really nice too.
