He mentions that he prefers the heaviest woods they can find. I just made the leap that his Siggy would be the same. Yeah, good to hear there's a choice. So ... wonder what makes his siggy model any different from any other 150. We always have the choice of pickups. I'd like to get a 150, but would rather get a regular one and switch pickups out if that would be something I'd like to do. But I definitely think it's cool that somebody some people know is getting a signature Heritage; and from a different genre. I was seriously considering one of those just before I met Heritage last February. Those, to me, actually looked extremely cool. I think the Gary Moore one is probably out by now, too (don't know for sure). How cool is that, though: a LP with a p-90 in the neck. Price was decent, too. Vince told me yesterday that his new signature model was 13 pounds! Traditional solid bodies Heritage makes are about 3 pounds lighter, if I'm not mistaken. yngwie308 Posted October 28, 2009 Share Posted October 28, 2009 The Gary Moore models I have with Grovers and EMG's and associated electronics and battery are indeed heavy, but they sound so great, I think they were in the close to 11 pound range last time I crudely weighed them, heavy for a stage guitar, but I don't play on stage and have it strapped on for 90 mins or so, so not a problem to me. But "Sshhhh" don't tell anybody). I guess if you are a Alex S. or Gary Moore fan then you would really want one of these "signature" guitars. Me, I am more than happy with these "signature" guitars .... "Sean Costello" signature 150 "Peter Green" signature 150 "T-Bone Walker" signature 525 "Larry Carlton" signature custom 555 I think you get my point....... Skolnick was a huge inspiration to play guitar for me in the mid 80's. I am not one for signatures, but this one... this one I would get. It doesn't seem to have his name scrawled all over it.
